I love looking out to see the marina. The water is so calm, so serene, and peaceful. I watch the boats cruise into the harbor and dock their boats. I see all the fish brought onto the dock after a good days catch; wahoo, dolphin, grouper, hogfish, lobster. In the evenings, I watch the nurse sharks swim along the docks and the little fish play. I can see all the stars outside from my patio. Its nautical; a salt life lifestyle. I love to see the different elements of the marina; the boats, the ropes, the dock, the wood. I like seeing the wheels on the sailboats that sail in and reading the names of the big Yatchs that tie up. I like all the things that make up a marina. I like watching the boats sail in and out of the entrance. It's not lonely on this side with the quiet yet peaceful noises of boat engines, hip music from boats cruising in, good conversation passing by, different accents, and laughter. Waking up near the marina is lovely - to see the sun rising above duck pond in the distance and the morning glow of what looks like a lovely day ahead. This is the perfect time for yoga or meditation. The sun shines into the kitchen for a nice morning awakening. In the early evening the patio is shaded From the sun. This is a nice time for gatherings, having a cocktail, catching up on some reading, and enjoying the time sitting outside. This is why I like the marina ...
